Early 2023, I moved from the province Zeeland to the middle of the Netherlands. This change also brought with it the need to look for a new workplace and professional challenge. This I found both at Impex Barneveld B.V.
After high school I followed and successfully completed the study International Business and Management Studies at HBO level. Then I started my career as a buyer, first in Zeeland and now at Impex in Barneveld.
I work in the purchasing department and am responsible for purchasing and the logistical processes involved. Impex has made significant progress in this area in recent years, and I am excited to continue and further develop this progress. Although this sector was new to me, I saw this as a wonderful opportunity to grow.
The challenge, the opportunity to learn a lot within a reputable company, and certainly the warm welcome during the first meetings, made me eager to join Impex.
What energizes me is implementing improvements and seeing concrete results. I also find maintaining contacts with various suppliers and striving for more efficient arrangements for faster supply of components or smoother processing of deliveries in our warehouse particularly valuable.
The ability to switch between various departments and interests within the company attracts me greatly in this role. I am in direct contact with everyone in the organization, coordinating with the warehouse on inventory issues and aligning purchasing with export expectations. These dynamics make my job very exciting.
